Download the ringtone in AAC format (.m4r) for iPhone only.
The song is "Two Time" by Syd Dale. Took the 320 kbps mp3, cut it down to 24 seconds (to match the one in the "Episodes" series) and followed these steps:
Open the iTunes application, right-click the song title and select the "Create AAC Version" option from the context menu. Allow several seconds for iTunes to create a new version of the song.
Click the new AAC version of the song and drag it onto the computer's desktop to copy it, then delete the file from iTunes. Change the file's extension from ".m4a" to ".m4r". Drag the file to add it to iTunes. Plug your iPhone into the computer and sync it with iTunes.
Tap the "Settings" icon on the iPhone's main menu, followed by the "Sounds" icon. Tap the "Ringtones" icon and select the ringtone you added to your iPhone to set it as your ringtone.
Thanks man i was looking for this shame that it is 24 seconds only
You cannot have a ringtone longer than 30 seconds on your iPhone.
I cut the 2 second intro to the song because that's how Matt has it and then edited out the rest of the song which has a different beat. Now, these 24 seconds that remain sound good in a loop, so that's pretty much the ringtone he's got as well
THANK YOU !!!
Awesome TV series, right?
I seem to have a problem. iTunes won't add it to the library, tried dragging it or adding it from add files. Do you might know, what seems to be the problem?
Nevermind, all good now. Thanks alot!!

Thanks so much!! Perfect and east!
Did ya mean "easy"? You're welcome
Hi, I have problem adding it to iTunes (tried dragging it or adding it from add files) but have not sorted it out as Karl has, would you mind to help me please?
The article is from 2012, it might be that iTunes has changed. I will try to do it again mayself and see if anything is different now.
thanks. that works great. here's the sync procedure for newest version of iTunes: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2017/09/how-to-transfer-ringtones-iphone-itunes.html
The procedure for the newest version of iTunes didn't work for me - it would not drag nor drop (I'm on a PC trying to do this to my desktop-based iTunes - is THAT the problem???) - I am still LeBlanc ringtone challenged! ARUGH!!!!!!
Hey Loni,
I've not done this in a while, but I'll try and help you. Please tell me if you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC and what iPhone you have. I am also on a PC with an iPhone 6s and will try to see what the easiest way is.
Cheers,
Alex
In the meantime, please check this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201593
Specifically:
1. Connect your device to your computer.
2. Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.
3. On your computer, find the item you want to add to your device. If you're looking for Tones, that previously appeared in your iTunes library, you can find them in your iTunes media folder.
4. Drag the item from your computer to your iOS device in the left sidebar of iTunes.
