RCS pregateste IPTV
Zvonurile spun ca la 1 martie RCS va introduce servicii de IPTV.
La sfarsitul lunii trecute RCS a anuntat ca testeaza serviciile IPTV pe esantion reprezentativ la nivel national si ca va lansa in curand si oferta comerciala.
RCS va intra astfel in competitie directa cu Romtelecom, singurul operator cu servicii IPTV la nivel national, care avea aproape 30.000 de clienti la aceste servicii la sfarsitul lui 2010.
Poate ca dupa ce cumpara UPC-ul, RCS-RDS cumpara si Romtelecomul

The ENTER key
In the last few years, keyboards have gradually changed from "typing-only" keyboards to multimedia keyboards and beyond. In this process, the ENTER key has changed its shape. This is not new, but the novelty is that 99% of all keyboards sold today have a small ENTER hey. So there's no choice anymore. It's a good thing I stocked up on some old-fashioned keyboards from Chicony.
Here's what I mean:
I simply cannot use a small-enter-key keyboard, I keep pressing the wrong keys while typing and so on. I don't know how people cope with this or don't even consider it and issue. I mean, ergonomically speaking, isn't this small-enter-key design crappy?

Make Windows 7 look like Windows 98 (Classic Theme)
When I upgraded from Windows 98 SE to Windows XP SP1a, I immediately switched to "Classic" theme. I didn't like any of XP's visual improvements. Then came Vista, one operating system I totally avoided, just like Windows ME. Finally, Microsoft decided to really work on it and released Windows 7, which really is the best operating system since 98 Second Edition.
Windows 7 was totally new to me and I didn't like that one bit. How could I make the new interface more friendly, make the upgrade from XP Classic as easy as possible? I found my answers in forum posts and after putting everything together, I'm satisfied with the result. It doesn't have the exact same look as XP Classic, but it's good enough for me. And it should work for the most of you as well.

Prostul de Victor, autorul, habar n-are ca e vorba de unul si acelasi drive. Cuvantul "rebadged" ii lipseste, probabil, din mini-dictionarul Englez-Roman de buzunar cu care se ajuta la traducerea stirilor de pe site-urile de-afara.
Va dati seama ce calitate au aceste stiri de pe playtech.ro. Oricum, nu stiu cine le citeste. Eu, unul, m-am nisat pe el.
Cum cumperi un writer blu-ray Pioneer in Romania?
De ceva timp, Pioneer nu mai vinde in Europa. Writerele lor blu-ray, superioare celor LG (cu acelasi chipset Renesas), sunt disponibile numai in SUA si Japonia. Amazon le are in lista, dar politica Pioneer face ca ele sa nu poata fi comandate daca adresa de livrare e in Romania.
Singura varianta este sa ai un prieten in SUA care sa-ti trimita writerul. Stiu ca nu asta e solutia pe care o cautati, dar din pacate nu exista alternative.
PS: cumva, ultimul model Pioneer a ajuns si prin Germania. Pe canale gri, banuiesc. Si nu stiu nimic despre comenzile facute din Romania.
