Adobe CC installation guide (February 2014)

Adobe Creative Cloud Installation Procedure:

If you follow this method, there is no need to use patched amtlib.dll files.

Start from fresh:

If this is your first time installing Adobe CC, you can safely skip this step and move onto the Preparation section.

1) Uninstall Adobe CC
2) Delete these files and folders
(change the Folder Options within Windows Explorer to see hidden files and folders)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp
C:\ProgramData\regid.1986-12.com.adobe
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache

3) Remove any Adobe references from your hosts file
4) Run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
5) Restart your computer

Preparation:

1) Download the Adobe CC trial installers. It is important to use the original trial installers listed below, as Adobe may patch updated trial installers to invalidate any X-FORCE generated keys. If none of the links work, I would recommend trying to obtain the installers from KAT or TPB.

1) Go to the Adobe Free Trial downloads page

3) An active cookie will be created for your web browser

2) Very, very important: DISABLE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION

Make sure all the Adobe CC applications are installed and properly activated offline BEFORE patching your hosts file.

Do this for each new CC app install:

1) Run the Adobe CC application installer
2) Select the first option "Install, I have purchased"
3) Click the "Sign In" button, then "Connect Later"
4) Accept the Adobe Software License Agreement
5) Generate a valid serial using the X-FORCE keygen:

Double-check that you're using the correct keygen, this is very important.

xf-adobecc.exe (CC apps), xf-aarpxi.exe (Acrobat XI Pro), xf-ac7.exe (Captivate 7), then press "Next"
(Do not close the keygen)

6) Click "Connect Later", then click "Install" to start the installation process
7) Once installed, launch the application
8) When the Sign In prompt appears, click "Having troubles connecting to the internet?"
9) Click "Offline Activation" then "Generate Request Code"
10) Copy/Paste the Request Code into the keygen and generate a Response Code
11) Paste the Response Code into the text box and click "Activate"
12) You should now have a successfully activated Adobe CC application

Do this next step ONLY when all of your Adobe CC apps have been installed and activated:

1) Patch your hosts file to block online activation C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
2) Backup these files and folders so that you can easily restore AAM and your licenses:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp
(This is where the retail Adobe Application Manager 7.0.0.324 is installed)
C:\ProgramData\regid.1986-12.com.adobe
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache

If anything goes wrong: uninstall your apps, delete the above and use Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to clean the registry. This will allow you to start from scratch.

3) Restart your computer
4) Reconnect to the internet
5) Install and run Adobe Update Management Tool 7.0 (AUMT) by PainteR
6) Click "Get and Install Online Updates" for CreativeCloudApps-1.0-Win-GM then "Run"
7) Select and install all the updates you require**
8) Update Adobe Acrobat XI Pro using its own updater

**DO NOT update Adobe Cloud Installer or Adobe Application Manager.

If you accidentally close the keygen during the installation process, you can use Belarc Advisor (free software) to retrieve a list of all currently installed serial numbers on your computer.

DO NOT load Adobe Application Manager from the start menu or desktop shortcut. Doing so will cause it to self-update to a newer version and invalidate all currently activated Adobe CC applications.
To prevent this from accidentally occuring, you can change the default shortcut to this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDapp.exe" --appletID=UWA_UI --appletVersion=1.0 --workflow=Updater

The hosts file must have these Adobe Activation Servers in the list:

127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 na1r.services.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 hlrcv.stage.adobe.com

Adobe Muse CC Activation:

It is recommended to download Adobe Muse CC 7.0.314 by PainteR and Sinaz.

1) Install Adobe AIR if required first, then install Adobe Muse CC
2) Choose not to Launch Application once installation is complete
3) Overwrite C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe Muse\MuseOnAIR.swf with the cracked version

Adobe Lightroom 5.x Activation:

1) Use the CORE universal keygen.exe to generate a valid Adobe Lightroom 5.x serial
2) Launch the application
3) Disable "Automatically check for updates" in menu Edit > Preferences...
